    Suitability

    MMS is excellent for building strength without joint strain. It is not suitable for anyone with a cardiac pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, epilepsy, uncontrolled cardiac conditions, or during pregnancy. We run a brief health screen before your first session to ensure it is right for you.

    What to expect on your first session

    How it works

    The X-TONE™ sends electromagnetic pulses directly to your motor nerves — the same signals your brain uses to fire your muscles. The result is deep contractions far stronger than you could produce voluntarily. A single session generates tens of thousands of contractions, engaging nearly all of the targeted muscle fibres at once. No weights, no impact, no joint loading. Twice a week is enough.

    What it does

    Training mode builds strength and lean muscle. Pro mode allows detailed parameter adjustments for specific goals. Recovery mode runs a steady rhythm that flushes lactic acid — closer to a deep sports massage. Because the contractions happen without weights or impact, your joints, ligaments, and spine aren't loaded. That makes it useful for return-to-training plans and conditioning around existing back or joint discomfort.
